Instance Directory Structure

This guide explains the directory structure for each platform. This should help in finding log files as well as configuration directories.

Magento 2

The directory structure for all Magento 2 instances is as follows

/home/magento/
  htdocs/          - This is the project root, this is the "main" directory
    var/log/       - This is the default Magento log directory
    mdoq/          - This directory contains all MDOQ specific files
      var/log/     - This is the log directory for all infrastructure logs
        php-fpm/   - PHP-FPM error logs
          mail/    - Mail logs for mail sent by PHP-FPM
        cron/mail/ - Mail logs for mail sent via cron
        nginx/     - Web access and error logs
